1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Sedan

For consignment, an original survivor with a mere 92,834 actual miles, nice Cotillion White paint, a very clean, and all conveniences working interior. A smooth 4.9 liter V8 is under the hood, it looks and drives just like the day your pop pop drove it off the showroom floor.

Exterior
Straight steel which lines up very nicely with its chromed trimmings is bathed in Cotillion White, which is hard to say a bad word about save for a few scuffs and chips in the front bumper. From the square and rectangle design grille and dual rectangular headlights all shiny and nice to the rear coach lamp shaped vertical tail lamp with chrome frames, this car has been well taken care of. The roofline with its extended area from the B pillar to the C pillar adds to the delicious richness this car offers up in mid 80's style. A white vinyl top covers the expansive passenger compartment, and the lower third of this car is bathed in complementing medium gray. Even the Cadillac script engraved into the side badges and the cloisonne crested badges on the front and back are showroom! Silver 15-inch multi spoke finned aluminum wheels with the Cadillac badge on the hubs have thin white sidewall tires surrounding them and add to the splendor of this early 90's luxury liner.

Interior
A swing of the massively dark blue padded dual paneled door panels, waltzes with wood applique and aluminum and chrome trimmings. A full control panel-esque grouping of toggles and joysticks work all the convenience functions and are at your fingertips. So is the clean door actuator handle and a large panel of blue carpeting under the armrest put there so you don't scrape your Bruno Maglis on the threshold. Panning to the inside there are two tufted and buttoned buckets which are in 50/50 split form and wrapped in beautifully preserved dark blue leather. There is a padded center armrest which folds upward and disappears from the bucket seats. Having the driver open the rear doors, you can luxuriate in a large padded bench, again with the tufting and buttoning, and central fold up armrest. These wonderful overstuffed recliners float in a sea of deep pile blue carpet that has only a few light stains at the driver's position. Looking forward to the dash, we note plenty of wood applique mixed with some very clean blue vinyl which houses all the blue LCD readout dash instrumentation essentials and is fronted by the factory steering wheel. In a centrally located bump out from the dash is the climate controls with blue LCD readout, and an information center. Next to this is a digital AM/FM/Cassette player.

Drivetrain
Under the massive hood, in a clean uncorroded engine bay sits the 4.9 Liter V8. This is original to the car and you can tell when you hear it idle that it has been masterfully and faithfully attended to with servicing. It is fuel injected and has a 4T60 4-speed automatic transmission pushing power to a 2.73 geared axle.

Undercarriage
Slight surface rust on the usual suspects, but the floorpans don't even have any road dirt on them. All solid underneath with power disc brakes and independent suspension providing the cushy limo-like ride.

Drive-Ability
We love these large and in charge Detroit iron behemoths that roll through our door, and this one has no love lost for it. It started right up, was extremely comfortable, and my snappily dressed for the occasion test driver whisked me through the test track and I did not spill a drop of my chardonnay. An excellent experience. What a great job I have indeed, and I could get accustomed to all this hobnobbing with the goober smoocher set. A/C blew nice and cold and all functions were working as they should.

Well heeled, high class, wealthy, high end, and luxurious still abound in this classic, which rolls you down the road with showroom ease and style, as well as condition. Fastidiously maintained and put away nicely for the next jaunt, this Caddy is truly rad, with a big touch of class!
