This 1966 Corvair Monza Four-Door is in excellent driving condition, featuring the 110hp engine and a Powerglide automatic transmission. It has undergone recent enhancements, including a full tune-up with new spark plugs and wires, as well as new brake shoes, hoses, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders. The car has been upgraded with an electronic ignition and fuel pump. Routine maintenance has also been performed, such as replacing the fuel filter, oil filter, and regular oil changes.
The images reveal some fiberglass patches behind the driver-side rear wheel and the passenger-side front wheel. The front two-floor pans have been replaced, with the interior metal wire-brushed and coated with POR-15 rust protection. The windshield and rear glass have been recently removed and resealed. The torque boxes are in excellent condition, and the car, having recently arrived in the Chicago area and not yet experienced a winter, is in good shape regarding rust.
The paint job is not award-winning, but it looks clean. The interior seats, however, are in rough condition and covered with seat covers. All gauges are functional, and the carpet has been replaced with a non-factory carpet. Despite these minor imperfections, the car starts reliably on the first try and drives beautifully. The black circle on the dashboard is a removable phone magnet. Feel free to make an offer.
