1959 Chevrolet Apache 3200 Fleetside Deluxe. Was a Texas truck with 40k miles. Restored in the mid 90s with around 10k miles since then according to the prior owner I tracked down. It's not a show truck its a driver but still turns a lot of heads. 99% rust free truck!
Ls Swap 2017 LS 4.8 liter l20 engine from an 2017 Chevy express van with aproximately 120k miles on it. USA made BP auto stand alone efi harness runs the stock GM ECU, the trans is a rebuilt th350 that shifts strong and firm in all gears. Brand new Hurst quarter stick reverse lock out cable shifter as well.
Gm 1st gen Camaro front suspension clip that measures square and true grafted to stock frame during restoration all new bushings etc replaced within the last few years. Aluminum wheels with tires that are in fair shape. 4 wheel disc brakes are new within the last year or two. Rear suspension is GM 10 bolt with leafs. Frame was painted when restored and looks very clean.
Solid Wood bed with stainless strips. Drop in retro fit Holley Fuel pump, corvette regulator, all earls fittings, and earls vapor guard hoses. Aluminum Radiator with spal electric fan. Power brakes work amazing, power steering works well.
Truck is very low. It could use to be raised up a few inches in the front as there is not a lot of travel for a softer comfortable coil spring ride. Took it to a car show today, about 100 miles since ls swap was done. When I did the ls swap i connected the nice dual exhaust with x pipe to the new manifolds, but could use a good exhaust guy to get to the top sides of the welds to eliminate any exhaust leak. I would estimate 99% rust free truck. At this price range they don't get much cleaner.
Could use minor things as all trucks do, but for the price its hard to find a better cleaner truck. No trades, please. Ive sold many classics on eBay never had an issue.
