About this vehicle

For sale is a 1981 Datsun / Nissan 280zx with side pipe exhaust and T-tops. I would describe this car as a unique car that looks decent and is fun to take out on nice days. It is far from a show car or a daily driver, but definitely a nice vehicle to tinker around with. The engine was rebuilt a few years ago and has very few miles on the rebuild (<10K Miles). The rebuilt engine has .030 over pistons (block re-bored), a mild performance cam, a header, custom fuel rail with new injectors, and everything cleaned up on it, as you can see from the pictures. Many new parts on the car, too many to list. The car's paint job is decent, although it was re-painted quite a few years ago, and there are definitely some dings, dents and scratches. The underbody of the car is definitely rusty and shows it's age. Someone who wants the car to be more than just a fun car to tinker with and take out on nice days will probably want to tend to the underbody. I just don't have a lift, and therefore never was able to clean it up the way I would have wanted. The mesh for the side pipes is frayed on one side (see picture), but it is not broken through. The car is low due to the side pipes, so I always have to do my best to take steep curbs and speed bumps sideways. Selling it because I just don't have time or space for it anymore. I have owned it since 2004 and I have the title. It runs and drives decent in my opinion.
