Vehicle Details
This MGB is an excellent running car that looks fantastic. It's been sitting in a heated garage for several years having very few miles put on it. The engine was rebuilt a few years ago by Jon and Ted at Cross Valley Auto in Plains, PA outside of Wilkes Barre, PA. Oil pressure is at 75 to 80 lbs and it runs cool. The engine is super quiet and runs well. The car shifts and downshifts easily in all gears. It has no interior rattles or shakes while driving and has excellent wheels with trim rings and tires. The paint is excellent and has a great shine and the bumpers are near perfect. There is one chip on the edge of the driver's door near the lock and some bubbling on the bottom of the drivers fender, but the paint is still excellent. The car was Ziebarted when new and has survived major rust issues as most do with Ziebart. The engine compartment has Ziebart as well on the fender-wells and can be easily removed with kerosene and some elbow grease to look like new. Floors are not rusted and I have installed hush mat on both sides to make it extra quiet and resist heat. See the undercarriage photos. It starts easily and drives well and has a manual choke. The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears on either seat. Both seats are clean and comfortable and I just replaced both diaphragms and refinished the bottom cushions. Carpet is good throughout as well as all panels, top is good with zip out. The trunk has no rust and has a carpet kit installed. Spare tire, with cover and lock-down, jack and boot frame all present. All electrics and gauges work and the dash is excellent as well as the radio and center console. The April 2021 inspection sticker shows 119,700 and only has an additional 500 miles in the last 3 plus years. I can be reached at 814-931-0627 with any questions or if you want to come to inspect the car. I have a clear PA title ready to transfer. There's a $500 non-refundable deposit required at the end of the auction. I am willing to assist in shipping as long as all arrangements are made well in advance. The car is known to be for sale locally and the auction will end with a local sale. If you want a great driving B, this is a good one. I'm sure you wont be disappointed. The reserve is low for a MGB like this one.
