Offered for auction and just taken out of storage is a 2006 Mercedes Benz SLK 280 two-door convertible with 147,109 miles. I have personally owned this vehicle for the last 10 1/2 years. It has been a great dependable car, and a very fun car to drive. The check engine light was on when I took it out of storage, but after putting a brand new $450 AGM battery, the light went out. I don't know if it will come back on again, but this car runs great. This vehicle does have some minor stone chips, nicks and light scratches and the clear coat is peeling on the headlights, like any vehicle of this year and mileage. The paint shines nicely. The A/C does not work - I replaced the A/C compressor, but that did not fix it. I don't have anyone that works on A/C, and I never used the A/C anyway. The convertible top works great, and the tires are excellent. It is an absolute pleasure to drive this Benz convertible. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this beautiful safe dependable car anywhere in the USA.
Priced to sell quickly at $5,995.00 or reasonable offer.
I don't charge hundreds of dollars in hidden dealer fees like most do.
