1997 BMW Z3 1.9L Roadster.

I bought this car in Japan while stationed there. It was originally a factory-to-owner sale, so the warning stickers on the car are original BMW-to-Japan stickers, but it is a left-hand drive car. I decided to ship the car to the U.S. when I returned, and it passed customs in 2021 and has been registered in Virginia ever since.

This car has only 92xxx miles on it (146xxx km), which is only about 3400 miles/year. I rarely drive it anymore since I bought a newer car. The interior passenger door handle is busted, and you can purchase one or a 3d print can be made. The driver's seat is worn, which happens in 25+ year old cars. The seat heaters still works great. Most noticeably, it will need a paint job at some point. The clear coat on the hood began wearing about a year or so ago. Mechanically, the car is very sound - I have no worries driving it. Virginia inspection is current but nearing expiration, as is the registration. Sony Xplode radio installed w/Bluetooth for hands-free phone calls. It is wired for a sub in the trunk, but the sub does not come with the car.Want gone soon, too many cars in driveway. Great deal on a classic convertible!
