1990 Mercedes 500SL Convertible. Car runs drives and stop great, no issues with driving.
This has been my wife's summer car since 2019. Only driven in sunny days. No rust at all. She has bought something else so this needs to go.

Lots of work done in 2018. It has been very reliable for us. Car is prior SALVAGE TITLE- was repaired after an accident in 1996 (ran into a ditch and front end components replaced) but you'd never know it from looking at it or driving it.

Car runs and drives great no issues but its not a perfect car-

Known Issues:

- Auto top stopped working when I pulled out of storage this year (worked fine last year) so you have to do the top manually - its not difficult - works just like a 450sl which was never available with automatic top. This happened a couple years ago and it was a sensor, but I'm not fixing
- radio doesn't work

- Rock chip in front window - in front of mirror so not visible inside the car - chip not a crack.

- odometer stopped working last fall - speedo still works but is 10 miles per hour off - not sure why this started and have never looked into it. We have put less than 100 miles on it since this happened
- Paint has some defects - scratches and clear coat issues. Car looks great from 20' away, but has issues upclose. I was going to paint this year if we kept it as the paint has been getting worse over the years.
- Has a very slight oil leak from the passenger side valve cover. Only noticeable if it sits a while. Was replaced once before, but they dry out if the car isn't driven enough - which we don't drive it much.
