1988 Isuzu Impulse Turbo JR 5-Speed Manual Transmission RWD 4ZC1-Turbo 2.0 - Inline 4 - 8 Valve SOHC - 147 HP Mileage- 195590 White exterior / Blue cloth interior I’ve held onto it for 17 years for sentimental reasons in hopes of getting this road worthy again. Sadly, my priorities have shifted and it’s finally time to sell. I purchased this from the 2nd owner (My uncle). He purchased it gently used with 11k miles in August ‘88. I have the title in my name. MECHANICAL
Has been sitting since 1999. Sat outdoors on a driveway for the first 9 years, since has been garage kept.
Assume a full on rebuild of the motor. If my memory serves me correctly, there’s a connecting rod issue in the bottom end. Don’t know which cylinder.
EXTERIOR
Dents and dings throughout. The 2 large dents on both rear quarter panels should pull out.
Rust spots, most notably on the passenger side fender near the headlights. No undercarriage or fender well rust.
All glass is good but the window tint is in poor condition and will need to be stripped.
INTERIOR
95% all there (at a minimum).
Mostly normal wear and tear, nothing excessive except for the staining on the carpet and the deterioration of the shift boot.
Cracks on the dash (2)
Passenger side window off track and will not stay up and in place.
SUSPENSION
“Handling by LOTUS”- Overall condition unknown but never modified
Tires are completely dry rotted so car will not roll.
