It has the 304 v-8, Dual exhaust, Auto Transmission, 4 wheel drive, power steering, power disc brakes, removable top with roof rack. The engine has a new carburetor, air filter, intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, fuel pump, radiator hose, spark plugs, wires, etc. There is also a new fuel tank/sender/lines/gas cap installed. The transmission is a 727 Torque flight, rebuilt recently with rebuilt torque converter. Brakes have all new hoses, new master, and wheel cylinders. the rear diff has a new 3.27 ring and pinion that matches the front diff with DANA 44 axles front and rear. IH lock-o-matics lock the front wheels when in 4 wheel drive, activated by a factory pull knob on the dash, which is functional. All 4 tires are new, 31x10.5 inch, with steel wheels rounding out the look. The interior has newly recovered 60/40 front bench, and bench rear seats, new ignition switch/key tumbler/turn signal switch. The exterior has recent paint in close to original yellow, black stripes, new windshield and windshield seal, new wiper blades, new door seals. The body is in above average condition, in my opinion, it appears to have spent most, if not all of its life in north Texas. floors look to be original and solid! The scout starts, runs, and stops well for an old truck! It has not been driven far, or fast because of the long expired tags. It is over 50 years old, it is not a new Toyota! It may need final details worked out. Scout was originally an A/C car, but most of it has been removed. Missing jack, unknown number of previous owners. Odometer shows around 53k miles, might be original, but have not attempted to verify either way. Fresh Texas title in hand. Be sure to have the funds and approval of any significant other before bidding. You are bidding to own the truck, not the right of first refusal. Deposit is due at the end of the auction and is non-refundable. buyer is responsible for shipping. I can take video and send to interested parties as well. Feel free to ask questions or set up a time to come see it and I will do my best to accommodate you. Thanks for looking!
