The Rustang has become a community favorite because unlike almost all other '66 stangs, this one is not restored. For example, I recently was at a cars and coffee parked next to a brand new Mach 1 and a Ferrari. People were ignoring those cars and surrounding this one.

Why? Because it's different. From the horn that is zip tied on, to the rusted out floor pans with a cardboard rear pan, to the poorly repaired rear quarter panel, matte blue paint job and '66 plate, to the Sasquatch hunting permit, NASA sticker, and cracked pleather seats with the rare front bench, it's just not something people see on the road these days.

Mechanically, the car has been restored and is a reliable daily driver. The engine was rebuilt professionally and runs strong. The brakes and brake lines were replaced. The auto tranny was recently swapped out for another used one. As you can see in the engine bay, many other components were also replaced, like the radiator and all the associated hoses. I've got at least $6,000 in recent receipts for this old girl because I saved her from a barn where she'd sat since the late 70s, and I'm not a mechanic and needed to get it done right.

In reality, you will need to be ready to put some elbow grease into this 66 to keep her road worthy. Yes, she runs, drives and brakes great, but there's always going to be something that goes wrong. For example, one time I was driving and the muffler literally fell off. It sounded great but was totally illegal. Now it has a replaced muffler with a cherry bomb, but it wasn't professionally installed and will need to be looked at.

I did rewire the dash and all the lights are working (out of necessity since it gets driven daily). The auto turn signals don't work so I just slap the stick up and down. This has honestly been a crazy awesome car.. can't go anywhere without wherever I'm at becoming a car show.

Miles will go up since I still drive it regularly. Will come with a fresh oil change, new battery, unwashed, dirty as hell and ready to roll.

I don't want to sell the Rustang but frankly don't have a choice due to some arsehole reporting my Airbnb and destroying one of my primary income streams.

So you'll see a lot of fun stuff getting listed here soon, against my will, and at the advise of my wife and attorney.

I have literally no idea what it's worth so I'm listing it no reserve starting at 99 cents. Good luck boys and girls!
