STK 3765 1997 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail
This Harley Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic was built at the York, PA plant in 1997 and it has been carefully restored to better than original. The custom 2-tone finish (applied in 2018) is exceptional and all chrome accessories are in excellent condition. The FLSTC comes factory equipped with 16" laced wheels, full fenders w/chrome trim and chrome engine accents/covers. Our owner has also added a compact windscreen, auxiliary fog lights and much more chrome. Other features include multiple seat configurations including a solo Corbin seat, foot boards, saddlebags, a 'pigtail' battery charger connection, custom cover, and three helmets. FLSTC Harleys of this era were powered by the 82 cubic inch (1340cc) 'EVO' single-cam V-twin. They came factory equipped with a Keihin 40mm carburetor and output was 67bhp and 72lb/ft of torque. This engine was completely rebuilt by Kendall Johnson and fitted with a performance cam - has logged only 2,500 miles since. The stock 5-speed transmission was upgraded to a six-speed for better highway manners and it is equipped with belt final-drive. Four-piston calipers with 11.5" front/rear discs provide braking and tires have good rubber. The fuel tank holds 4.2 gallons and the bike weighs in at 650# dry. This Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic is one of the most popular Softails in the Harley stable and this beauty has your name on it. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
