Vehicle description:
~ 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee LIMITED 5.9 Liter V8 H.O. This Cherokee only has 110K Miles! It has a Clean clear title, clean clear history and no issues. Limited production. This is a special order jeep Unique to the 1998 Year ONLY and is the First of the SRT Line. These were only available in 3 colors and had special body options (hood louvers, an AWD limited slip driveline, the larger and more powerful 5.9L 360 H.O high output engines and special 16 inch wheels and body panels. There are few of these left that are clean and even less that are ORIGINAL. Most unfortunately have been chopped up, abused, neglected and off-roaded. This particular jeep is in beautiful condition and great standing order.
~ Engine: 5.9L H.O fully serviced. Had filters changed, fluids were done, and A/C was serviced recently 5/25/24. The engine runs GREAT, very powerful and smooth. I have replaced miscellaneous gaskets and also replaced the battery. The oil was changed for the sale, Mobil 1 5W-30. The belts are in good shape, and the radiator was replaced last year. Does not leak or consume fluids. Has a Cold Air K&N intake system. Plugs and wires were done over the winter this past year. There are no issues with sensors, there are no check engine lights or problems. Even in extreme heat it runs and drives very well!
~Transmission: Shifts excellent. It has clean fluid and is working properly as it should. There are also No leaks. Lines are good, Transfer case is in great condition. No abnormalities.
~ Differentials: All fluids up to par, had the front and rear differentials drained of old oil and new seals/ oil added to front AND REAR.
~ Suspension: All shocks and ball joints/ tie rods are in great standing order. No issues. Passenger Ball joint replaced during last inspection. ABS light comes and goes due to a wheel sensor. Easy fix.
~ Brakes: Brakes are healthy, all lines are excellent! The pads, rotors, and calipers are BRAND NEW all 4 wheels (new calipers pads and rotors 4 corners). They are clean and working well! Stops great!
~ Interior: The leather is very clean and well cared for! The headliner is in great condition and has no issues. Windows and all electronics work properly. A/C works great! Blows cold. Heat is great! All door panels and amenities are proper. The carpets are clean and plush. SMELLS GREAT!!! Everything works except radio see below description.
~ Body: The body is clean! It was repainted a few years ago due to scratches and age. I don't know who painted the truck but it does look great and cleans up nice! There are no issues I could discern. The truck has normal use and sits in a garage when not in use.
~Lighting: This Jeep has upgraded lights LED interior and exterior.
~STEREO SYSTEM: The stereo system on this jeep is WILD and frankly, complex. It has Extra speakers incorporated into the floor (see pictures). It has a TV/ AUDIO screen with a back-up camera. I do not know audio and therefore don’t know how to operate it. The previous owner had a Massive entertainment system in the jeep including a PLAYSTATION in the armrest of the rear seat. It has amps under the passenger seat. The head piece is on the ceiling like where the info screen was. The TV screen and audio turn on but I don't know how to use them. The jeeps original owner was a DJ and had a trunk FULL of audio system with turntables and loads of equipment but they were removed when the truck was sold years ago. (I found out when I was in communication with the original owner of the jeep). There are extra cables and wires for subwoofers and in the center console there are connectors for DVD players or audio players.
~ Tires: BRAND NEW only 100 miles on them. They were replaced for the sale. They are slightly larger than OEM, 235-70-R16 All season Rugged.
~ The Jeep's undercarriage is clean!! I was going to undercoat it and restore it however I opted to leave it as is since many people don't like to see anything disturbed
