FOR SALE is a fully restored 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. This vehicle underwent a meticulous nut and bolt restoration and has less than a few hundred miles since the built. The owner was a corvette enthusiast who made this vehicle like the day it came off the production line. He was very particular and made sure everything on the car is as it should be OEM. I would say it is a solid 9 out of 10. I could imagine someone spending over $100k today trying to make their car as nice as this one. From top to bottom this car is lovely. Production for the 1962 Corvette was 14,531 cars. This car is vin #12,188. It was produced on June 5,1962. The engine production date is May 28,1962. Work started the day after he purchased it in August of 1980. A frame-off restoration was performed. The car was completely disassembled, including engine, transmission, rear end and frame. Parts were repaired, replated, replaced and repainted over the next eight years, and then slowly put back together. It was finished in its original Roman red over red interior. The interior of this vehicle is virtually flawless and in great condition. Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint is deep and glossy. Everything looks practically new cosmetically. It has a new soft top that fits perfectly. Check out the video and see for yourself. Mechanically it runs and drives great. It is powered by the correct 327 300 HP Engine mated with a four speed manual transmission. The ride is smooth and sporty. The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. The drivetrain doesnat have but a few hundred miles on it. He took it to events and used it as a show car. Clean title. 36k miles on the odometer. Offers a clean title. Unfortunately the documentation and history was all in a box, and the previous owner lost it. But his quality of work speaks for itself, come check it out.
