This BMW X5 has been inspected and photographed by a third party and shows well. The exterior of the car is in good condition, with wear that is consistent with the mileage on the vehicle. There is a scratch on the rear bumper and curb rash on the front right bumper. Both are pictured in the inspection. Also mentioned in the inspection is a dent on the passengers side rear quarter panel. Carfax records indicate minor damage in 2017 and two other minor incidents that were all repaired. The interior has only minor wear, with a tear in the front seat and aging on the steering wheel. The interior condition is solid and doesnt appear as old as it actually is. Mechanically, the car drives as intended according to the inspection and was given a recent set of brake pads, and a host of other maintenance work was completed which can be seen below. Included in the sale is one set of keys.

About the model
The first generation of BMW X5 was known as the E53. Introduced for the 2000 model year, the E53 was BMW's first SUV. The X5 benefited greatly from knowledge and parts from Land Rover, who BMW acquired in 1994. Yet the emphasis for the new X5 was to be a capable on road car, with nearly 2/3 of the car's power going to the rear wheels. The most notable variants of the first generation X5 are the 4.4i and the 4.8is. Built until 2006, the E53 was replaced by the E70 for the 2007 model year.
