Up for auction is our 2008 FJ Cruiser. This was the truck that started my unhealthy obsession with modding and wheeling Toyotas. We bought this new off the lot with 15 miles or so on it and have had a blast with it for the past 228,700+ miles. Since this we've purchased two other FJs and a new 4Runner. My wife says that something has to go now. This one is the oldest and needs to find a new home.It is a little rough around the edges. You can see from the pictures that it needs paint - or spray it with bedliner like I was going to do. It is a manual transmission, which is rare to find up for sale anymore. However, it grinds into third gear. The engine runs fine, A/C blows cold and you can drive it as is. We just rev a little higher in 2nd and skip to 4th. Third still works, but I don't like the grinding noise, so I always skip to fourth. The paint was an issue on some 2008 Toyotas - including this one. My son drove it through college from 2014 on and I don't think it saw many car washes! The oil and other fluids were always changed regularly Redline in the diffs & tranny, Mobil1 in the engine. It has a new battery, new front upper control arms. The alternator was replaced in the last few years - I can't remember exactly when. This would be a great ranch or hunting truck and with continued regular oil changes has many more miles left on it!I'm not sure what happened with my eBay id here.
