This is a 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera convertible.  It is a five speed manual transmission with a 3.2 H6/FI rear wheel drive engine.  I bought this car in 2007.  It is silver with black interior.  I have been told by my long term Porsche mechanic that the silver paint is custom from the factory in Germany.  He says there is a code under the hood that confirms the original owner specified the paint color. The car has a few dinks on it, but overall, the paint is in very good condition.

Based on a CARFAX report from 2007, I am the fourth owner.  The odometer reading on my title says "exempt."  Based on photos, the mileage when I bought it read 89,675.  The odometer quit working several years after I bought it, and it reads 91,101.  In the 17 years I have owned it, my guess is that I have put less than 5,000 miles on the car.  The car has always been garaged.

Mechanically, the car runs good.  Over the years, I have maintained it as needed.  I am not a car guy, but I have followed my mechanic's recommendations over the years.  The air conditioner has always been wonky and it currently doesn't work.  Also, I had a fuse go out during Covid, and I couldn't get anyone to work on the car, so I bypassed that fuse and as a result, the car's high beam doesn't work.  As far as I know, everything else works well.  The car was just inspected in May 2024.

I am selling it because I have too many toys and the car needs a good home with an owner who will drive it and enjoy it.
