Beautiful rare find in this condition. 35 years of meticulous records. Prior owner converted the 300d to a turbo diesel engine and transmission that now is roughly estimated to have approximately 150 k miles. Engine, transmission, suspension, brakes are excellent, runs smoothly with strong compression and no excess smoke. EZ cold start in the morning. Drives nicely on freeway with lots of power. Prior owner for 35 years moved to another state and sold me the car. Clean title, registered in my name with license tags paid until 2/16/25. Note, diesel fuel is cheaper than regular gas, very low insurance rate, no smog certificate required. Note that AC is non-op, only fresh air and heat work, all instruments work, windows work,sunroof is non-op. Odometer not accurate due to engine swap. Compare to 300d, 240d, 300sd

Note:  this is not a perfect show car, not original paint but a similar match painted about 5 years ago. One small rust area at passenger side near lower back side of front tire could use additional repair (see photo),also some minor defects on the hood near Mercedes emblem, AC compressor motor and hose is missing.  One small hole on front seat bottom and above in headliner area.  The front driver seat moves forward and back but the back rest will not move and stays in place.  Rear window motor behind driver makes noise and I keep it up. As mentioned, this is a beautiful car but not your perfect show car, please expect a great running car but not a perfect gem (those sell for 2-3 times this price).  Also, I suggest you have an independent mobile car inspection.  I want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase before you pay balance.  If after inspection you are not satisfied, I will quickly refund your $500 deposit.  Contact me with any questions
