1988 Land Rover 6x6 pickup This Defender is a factory 6x6 unit with a rover V8 and manual gearbox. We were at the Amelia Island concourse in the spring and someone was hawking a done up one of these for $475k (!). I rolled my eyes as the rig he was selling was a bit of a Frankenstein with welded up frame extensions and I know what they cost to build. That said, this unit is a blank canvas ready for the ultimate Defender build. It’s a factory 6x6 and totally rust free. No questionable engineering or Rube Goldberg solutions. This unit has extremely low mileage and runs/drives well. A local viewing is welcome and encouraged with appointment.
