This Scout was modified in 1992 by a local Fort Wayne IH "legend" and has remained relatively untouched since then.  The build started with a solid Arizona truck and remains rust free.  The Scout was converted to 2wd and includes a narrowed Dana 60 rear axle with 3.73 gears and Powr-Lok.  The engine is a good running Oldsmobile 455 V8 backed by a TH350 transmission.  The engine has an Edelbrock 4 bbl intake and gear drive timing.

The rust free body is all steel except for the fiberglass tilt front clip.  The removable Terra top was chopped three inches.  SSII door inserts are present.  I have SSII door frames that have been cut down to fit the chopped top, but they need to be covered (just the bare metal frame).  The Scout has a custom vinyl bed cover (the cover does have a few issues as it's 32 years old).  The body was painted in a Chrysler red paint back in 1992 and is holding up pretty well for its age.  It does have its share of scrapes and scratches after 32 years, but still looks good.  The interior is mainly factory IH.

New tires installed in 2022.

Issues include:
The tachometer is currently not functioning
The fuel gauge is non-functional
The electric fan is not working but mechanical fan was installed

The Scout starts every time and is a blast to drive.
