This ad is for a 1960 Impala 2dr hardtop that is available for immediate purchase. The Impala started out as a clean survivor car that I was told only had 49k original miles by the previous owner, and retained a lot of its original paint and interior. I have no record of that but I have replaced the carpet, kick panels and rear package tray but the seats and door panels do look like they are factory to the car.
The engine is a 283ci and power-glide that runs great and does not smoke and shifts nicely. The paint and chrome on the car is decent quality for its age but is not perfect but does look good for its age. The glass is all decent in the car and the windows all roll up nicely and all the lights and wipers and everything else work like they should. Oversall the car is solid top and bottom and in good driver shape.
Recently we have upgraded the car with 4 corner air ride that functions flawlessly and rides like a Cadillac with new shocks at all 4 corners, dual compressors, a large 5 gallon tank so you have plenty of reserve and an Accuair block valve. The spindles were swapped out with CPP 2" drop spindles and 12" Wilwood disc brakes on the front with an added booster and aluminum CPP master cylinder. The rest of the brake lines and brakes have been redone. 'Wheels and tires are brand new Billet Specialties with brand new tires. The car was equipped with a new Vintage Air under dash AC unit with a new aluminum radiator and oversized clutch fan to keep it cool. Everything on the car is working as it should and has been professionally installed. This car needs nothing and can be driven and enjoyed as is. please contact me with any other questions. Thanks
