This is a very rare 1st generation Integra, the car that started it all. This is the second one i’ve owned, and I absolutely love this car. This is a work in progress, it needs more love than i have time for.
What she is and what she needs. It has the original d16a1 dohc 1.6l power plant, a turbo and intercooler have been added. It runs and drives, however it’ll still need some love to get it to what it can be. For example, ’ll need finishing exhaust, setting up the wastegate and blowoff, and vacuum lines. I’d say the power plant is sitting at about 80% done.
It has sat for a quite a while, i had it indoors, the previous owner had it outdoors, so it’ll need some maintenance on all the rolling gear and brakes. It does drive but I wouldn’t take it above 25 until i had atleast inspected and cleaned up the suspension, brakes and steering.
It has a rust issue. Not unmanageable, but definitely will need some work. I purchased from Arizona a hood, both doors and the flip up lights. They are clean, will just need to be installed and painted. The lower sills/rails are rough and will need to be cut out and new ones welded in.
The interior is in good shape.
If you grew up in the 80’s/90’s and especially if you were an F1 fan during that era, this car hits all the nostalgic buttons.
