Vehicle Details

Automobile is a 1978 VOLVO 262c (BERTONE) Sport Coupe with a 1994 Mustang GT HO (High Output) Engine and 5-speed Mustang Transmission.  A Precision Drive Shaft was used to connect the Transmission with the Differential.  A Bob 'Converse' conversion Kit was used for the conversion and the Volvo Instruments are driven by the Ford Mustang Computer.  The Ford Computer is from as Automatic Mustang. Car gets approximately 21 mpg city and over 24 mpg on the highway. The engine turns approximately 2300 rpm at 80 mph in high gear on the road. Car has dual exhausts with dual catalytic Converters and Ford Mufflers that growl on acceleration. Car is normally referred in Custom Circles as a "SLEEPER".  Interior is Original except for Front Seats which are covered in nice Black Naugahyde. In its day, the BERTONE Sports Coupe was more expensive than a Cadillac.
