Clean California Title and current registration. older restoration, very nice and complete driver quality Ghia, nice enough to drive daily everywhere and take it to car shows, but at the same time not a concourse 55k Ghia in pristine condition car that doesn't let you step away from it for a second because you are afraid somebody will touch it or a fly could poop on it and you could have a heart attack!
Restored about 10 years ago, and painted in the original factory colors of sky blue and cobalt blue for the roof, always garaged and covered not used very often except for car shows or special events, examine pictures for details.
The interior is in very nice and complete condition when the car was restored it also got a new blue carpet in square weave very similar to the original, seats were also re-upholstered in vinyl and blue salt and pepper tweed fabric and are in very nice "like new " condition. The headliner is white and in perfect condition including a working dome light.
The electric system is still the original 6 volt in excellent working condition including : * working 6v Blaupunkt am radio *headlights *stop lights * turn signals * interior dome light * wipers * fog lights * kill switch (anti-theft)
The Mechanics are in excellent working condition including : *4-speed manual transmission that shifts perfectly. *1500 cc engine that was recently tuned. * has drum brakes in good working condition, as well as an operational parking /emergency brake. *All of the suspension components are in good condition for a smooth and fun ride.
The body is nice and straight, and the two-tone paint is in very good condition for its age and shines nicely, the molding and trim are all there including the rain gutter molding, window trim, rocker trim .interiror trim on the doors, both original karmann ghia emblems for the nose and the engine deck lid are present and in nice condition.
In my opinion, this is a car ready to be driven and enjoyed not a trailer queen, but a very decent classic that is very fun to drive and presents well, as we all know type 34's are not just rare but they are also going up in value, here is your chance to own a timeless classic for a price lower than the price of a new boring Toyota Camry.
