If I said this creampuff was owned by a little old lady who only drove it to church, I wouldn't betelling the truth, because she only drove it to the grocery store in Arizona. My 92 year old mother is the second owner of this classic cruiser and has maintainedit in excellent condition, but now it is time to sell her beautiful baby.Everything works, air blows cold, tires in great shape.
This two-ownersurvivor 1999 Oldsmobile 88 is a great example of everything that was goodabout GM's H-Body sedans. The reliable 3.8l V6 is strong, reliable and frugal. The four speed auto and clean styling in a mid-size car is a great combination. The maroon exterior is complimented by the beige cloth interior. Everything onthis 25-year-old sedan is original except maintenance items. These cars arefamous as reliable and comfortable land yachts.
There are only 4defects in this lovely lady, 3 of them are shown in the last 3 pictures above:
1. AZ heat hascracked the vinyl on the drivers armrest.
2. Mom traded paintwith a neighbor who parked across the street (yes, it is hard to see thedamage).
3. The passenger grab handle is missing.
4. The rear driverspower window makes noise if you hold the close button after the window iscompletely up.
Everything else is asgood as it looks.
If you have checkedout other '98/'99 Olds 88's in similar condition, you know they range from$5k-$6.5k. We are not a dealer, and we want to move the car, so it is pricedfair.
