ORIGINAL Miles– Essentially a 1 Ton 2WD w/“F” Block 352 V-8, Borg Warner Manual
3-Speed Transmission, Dual Fuel Tanks and Exhaust.

everything is present and works, Well…..There is Very Little missing or that
does not function as intended on this GEM!
Barn Kept, Runs and Drives Just as Intended in 1966. Wonderful Overall Condition, even the bed is near perfect and the Ice Cold Engine Fired Right off!
The carburetor has been rebuilt, there is a minor
exhaust leak on the passenger side (somewhere near the manifold) but quickly
quieted down as she warmed up. A few rubbers here and there have been replaced,
the windshield is a Very Good Original Yard Find Replacement and according to
the owner the Great Sounding Dual Exhaust is MOSTLY Original.
KNOWN MODIFICATIONS: Minor Exhaust Work.
Two Small Drain Holes were recently placed into each side of
the bed all the way to the front to insure draining (roughly 5/16” to 3/8”
Diameter if memory serves), which explains why it’s parked on blocks.
The Current Owner installed a Fan Shroud originally meant
for a1967 however it bolted right up, not sure if this vehicle was originally
fitted with one?
A Newer Under-dash Mounted Stereo was added and probably the
door speakers.
Dashboard and Seat Cover are not factory (Not sure about the
floor mats) and the current owner did not want to remove it or the dash matt (as
it was mounted very good under the metal dash trim – See Photos) however,
judging by the near perfect conditions of the floor liner, sun visors and seat,
I can only imagine that the dash is also good however…..WE CAN’T BE SURE.
NOTES: A Replacement Headliner IS Included (as
illustrated in the photos) in the sale, we will leave the installation to you.
The Original Hub Caps are Not Available.
Spare Tire Included, NO Jack or Owners Manual Available.
The Current Owner Changed the Oil and Filter with Rotella
(weight, viscosity & Detergent?).
There is the manual fuel pump and a secondary electric
fuel pump servicing both tanks (not sure that is original), a body and paint
man was hired to apply factory color touch up in some areas (missed the spot on
the center of the roof) then applied a clear coat to those areas and is
scheduled to buff the vehicle, NO evidence of collision repair, very little
rust and NO Bondo anywhere, even the bed is near perfect.
The body and paint man had applied black paint or
sealant(?) to the backside of the bumper however the wiring for the license
plate light and trailer hook-up has yet to be performed.
Two of the reflectors have a crack (one amber and one red).
The Passenger Side Truck Bed Exterior Lower Built-In Tool
Box has a cable fray (that suspends the door open, not a big deal).
The Original Windshield Fluid Reservoir (soft blue
vinyl(?) located on the drivers side fender in the engine compartment, pump is
just to the lower right of the fluid bag) and pump are present, in tact and
working however, the fluid supply lines will need to be replaced/installed.
The Battery may or may not be serviceable to acceptable
standards (Probably Needs Replacement).
