MaxMotive is now offering this one of a kind 1950 Dodge Truck Custom in our Pittsburgh Showroom. The complete body-off build is coated in Black Cherry Pearl Paint and powered by a 408W Stroker Crate Engine built and thoroughly tested by Performance Unlimited Inc.
It’s based on a seasoned and fully machined 351W Ford Roller block and the Performance Unlimited crew has tuned it to easily generate more than 450 reliable horsepower. A complete spec sheet includes such goodies as an MSD Atomic EFI and a Comp Cams custom-ground hydraulic roller cam. The power is sent through a C4 automatic to a 9-bolt rear. The smooth sheetmetal (and yes, it’s all metal including cab, doors, fenders, hood, bed, and tailgate) is covered in a beautiful shade of Black Cherry Pearl with subtle gold flames and gold striping. The chassis is up to the task as well with coil over suspension and a Mustang II front end with rack & pinion steering. Inside are black leather bucket seats with Alcantara suede inserts, a Grant GT steering wheel, and white face Auto Meter gauges and a Jeg’s tach. It features air conditioning by Vintage Air, power windows, and a tilt steering column. The truck rides on multi-spoke chrome wheels with spinners wrapped in high performance radial tires. This 1950 Dodge Truck Custom is a high quality build and the good news is it’s ready to drive. Please be sure to see the detailed photos at
