Third time lucky? Twice I have sold this and had no-show buyers. If it happens again it will go for scrap, which would be a terrible shame.
Here we have the remains of a 1964 Corvair convertible, with manual transmission. It has the earlier engine that doesn't have the crankshaft damper. Located Central Florida 34714. I drove it here and it ran just fine, but then Covid got in the way and everything ground to a halt (I'm British and was not allowed to travel to the US for some time). The body has deteriorated badly; there is no interior; the convertible top was completely demolished by a freak hailstorm!
I haven't started the motor for a year or so, but I'm sure it will start & drive ok with a battery, fresh gas etc, although I obviously cannot guarantee this. Engine & transmission were all working just fine when I drove it here, and it turns over ok.
I reckon it's worth $500 for the engine and transmission, but it will go to the highest bidder regardless, as I need to move it on. Starting price of only $99! I think I have the title.
I accept Bitcoin, cash on collection, gold, bank transfer, whatever!
I require payment within 24 hours of auction end and collection within 7 days. Any more no shows will be reported to eBay.
