Here is your chance to get your hands on a FACTORY BIG BLOCK 402 El Camino.

Up for sale is a 1971 El Camino with a factory 402 big block matted to an automatic transmission with a factory floor console unit and bucket seats.

In the past 4+ years, the vehicle had the following services:

COMPLETE suspension rebuild done at MIDAS to the tune of $4,500.

5 new BF Goodrich radial tires to the tune of $1,000.

Radiator, power steering, brake fluid, transmission and rear differential flush to the tune of $900.

The exhaust appears to be relatively new.

I have a stack of records/receipts dating back more than 20 years for the car. I also have the BUILD SHEET, but it is in pieces and not complete. The car runs & drives great. The engine is strong. The interior appears to be completely original with the exception of the seat upholstery. There is currently no headliner and the dash is cracked. I do have the original sun visors.

The original paint color is Antique Green (code 49). At some point the car was painted Cottonwood Green and then later repainted Antique Green. The paint quality is not very good. The car has minor rust in the common areas of this model including the lower rear window, storage area, and a spot in the bottom right and left fenders. The frame appears to be VERY solid. The bumpers are in fantastic shape. NO LEAKS of any kind!

THE CAR APPEARS TO RETAIN ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL METAL. IT APPEARS IT'S NEVER BEEN DAMAGED (WRECKED).

The following are inoperable:

-------- Factory Radio
-------- Factory A/C
-------- Dash Lighting

To my knowledge, this has been a California car from day 1 (retains original blue and yellow plate). According to the build sheet it was originally delivered to Courtesy Chevrolet in Los Angeles, CA.

Drive as-is or invest in a new coat and interior and have a 35K+ car!
