Vehicle Details

Every car has a story….He is this one’s. This car was purchased in 1987 from the original owner, for the purpose of a no budget restoration car. It was aqquired and sent for a Complete frame off Restoration, completed in 2002, I have all the documents, pics, Restoration ledger totaling over $26,950.00

In 2002 Dollars, That’s like spending $50,000 in todays dollars to restore a MGB, crazy right? The car was then driven Very little, and then stored and put away, in 2013, serviced in 2015, but stored back and not driven since. It had sat unloved until recently, where I have revived it, and gone thru the complete fuel system, rebuilt and synced the SU carbs, Brand New Tires, old Michelin’s had flat spots, New fluids, plugs, oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, coolant, and the most recent update this week is new Bullet style Mirrors, new oil cooler line, electric fan with thermostat, just put in, the updated 2.0L engine is NOT running over 200 Degrees ever, even with the camshaft that was installed at the rebuild, I just like the piece of mind the fan provides. Refurbished Electric Overdrive trans with receipts, works beautifully, smooth shifting. Clutch works just as well. Moto Lita 13” steering wheel and wood shifter are wonderful additions, and very expensive. ($800) Is the car perfect? No, but damn close, and you could take it to any local car show and enter it with confidence, that you are in the running, immediately!..

leather seats with white piping are in soft supple shape, and smell like fresh leather. Amazing for their age!. Dash wrinkle finish is superb, and the chrome around the car is fantastic, just some very minor pits on the door wing frames. Entire underside is Rhino lined, and has upgraded spring on the driver’s side, to balance it out while the driver is inside. 3/4” sway bar, along with all of the bushings replace at restoration. Has A CD player installed, and 6x9 box speakers in the rear, but I have a new blanking plate to replace that with. And a Bluetooth stereo to put in the glove box, to hide the audio.. Simply put, a wonderful car that turns heads everywhere it’s driven, and thumbs up all day, from the public. BAT auction wanted me to list it NO Reserve but I won’t do that, priced lower then NON restored cars out there, save some investment $$ here, and hit the next show, just after you get it home.. it’s that nice, Really!!! Vehicle is for sale locally Seller can end the auction at any time.
