About this vehicle

This 1953 MG TD was acquired from a museum in 2023, where it had previously a showpiece in a covered, climate-controlled setting. Due to a lack of space for the current collection we are offering this vehicle to another British motor enthusiast. Interior is 10/10 condition. The leather had been repaired in the past and maintained to perfect standard. Absolutely no cracking or stiffness is present anywhere. The carpet is in as equally good condition, with no fading or rips. The wood dashboard has no discoloration, and all guages and knobs are in perfect condition. Exterior is 9/10 condition. Some minor scratches exist on the fenders from lowering and raising the bonnet guards, but the bodywork is free from dents or evidence of prior damage. As can be seen in the photos, the undercarriage is also completely free of rust. Vehicle has not been driven since its time in the museum, and engine does not currently turn over. Convertible top has been removed, but the metal framework for reinstalling the convertible frame is present and will be included with the sale of the vehicle.
