Up for sale is a beautiful little 1946 Ford Special Deluxe Coupe with beautiful Black paint over very nice Stright body. I only found one small spot on the passenger rear fender that has a very small nick in the paint. (pictured)(very nice body and paint) The trunk lid has been shaved with inside pull opener. Bumpers have been re-chromed and all stainless has been polished. (looks nice) A set of fender skirts come with the car and are in the trunk in the pictures. This owner like the look without the skirts on the car. Dual spotlights with Ford logo and outside mirrors, with a Folton Sun Shield all add to the custom look. It is running a built Mercury Flathead V8 engine with adjustable lifters and it starts easy and runs strong. It has a 6-blade fan and extra electric fan to keep it running cool. The transmission is its original 3 speed on the column, it shifts nice, and clutch is smooth. It retains the banjo rear-end with sway bars front and rear. All the brakes have rebuilt with new shoes, wheel cylinders and it stops well. The newly powder coated wheels are 16" and have new beauty rings and new hubcaps also new 215/65R16 tires are all around. (nice driving car) Look at the interior. Very well done with its nice-looking cloth seats, matching door panels and new headliner. Also, the dash trim, clock basal, speedometer and gage bezel, speaker grill, ashtrays and all window molding have been chromed for a more custom look. Gages are bright and all work except the gas gage and the clock. All lights work as they should except the interior light switch. Need a new one. E brake works as dose the horn and electric wipers. All glass is good with no chips and glass look new. Door windows roll up and down nicely and a set of seat belts have been installed for safety for driver and passenger. I'm listing this beautiful little Ford for a friend, and I will take all questions to him. He just doesn't drive the car much anymore.
