Seller's Notes

Car does need some work. The radio is currently uninstalled, transmission has a leak but shifts and operates normally. The weatherstrips around the doors are in rough shape but it comes with a seal kit. Lots of extra parts included with the car, literally thousands of dollars of extra components for the interior and mechanicals of the car

Vehicle Details

1 owner 1972 Mercedes 280sel. Overall solid condition, needs a bit of tlc. Factory electronic fuel injection, 4.5 v8 and automatic transmission. Interior is good with the exception of not currently having a radio, factory head unit included with sale(2 of them actually) and the headliner needing replaced. Engine has new distributor cap and rotor, new injectors, runs well, it’s still running on the factory electronic fuel injection, has complete factory AC and comes with a R134a retrofit kit so you can have functional air conditioning. Has a leak from the transmission I can’t tell from where but will update the listing as I diagnose, transmission shifts well and works fine otherwise. Comes with a ton of spares and parts for restoration, including new weatherstripping a second ac compressor, a full set of wood dash trim, brake hoses, replacement dash speaker, extra interior dome light surrounds and too much stuff to list here. I just don’t have time to work on it like it needs to get it properly finished and turned into a really drivable classic and could use money more than a project

Exterior

Original paint, one owner car bought new in 1972. No major body defects of any kind, no rust, car is originally from Arizona.

Interior

Interior is in good shape except for the headliner and a small rip on the drivers seat. Comes with basically a full cars worth of extra parts and interior trim

Engine

4.5 v8 and automatic transmission in good working order. New distributor cap and rotor, new fuel injectors. Not the original engine but the car comes with a title for both the car and the car the engine came out of
