You are looking at one of the most amazing Grand Wagoneers to ever deserve the Classic Gentleman moniker. 1991 was the final year for the Grand Wagoneer and Chrysler produced a very limited number as Jeep enthusiasts are aware-according to Wikipedia just 1560 “Grands” rolled off the Detroit assembly line ending the life of one of America’s most iconic vehicles. A very special color was added to the line up in that final year-and only offered in the ’91 model-HUNTER GREEN METALLIC. This unique color was an instant favorite and was chosen by Chrysler to represent the Grand Wagoneer in the Chrysler Museum and the final Grand to complete that day was a Hunter Green edition. Few American automobiles were ever produced in such limited numbers making the 1991 Hunter Green Grand Wagoneer a truly rare vehicle in the annals of domestic automotive history. The production number for the ’91 Hunter is sometimes quoted at 150-other sources feel that low hundreds is more accurate, but either way extremely low numbers were produced and today a very limited number exist in excellent condition with low mileage.
This amazing Grand Wagoneer has the second lowest mileage of any ’91 to grace our extensive inventory and by far the lowest mileage of any ’91 Hunter Green we have restored with just 56,150 original miles. That translates to just over 1750 miles per year driver over its 32-year history. Few have survived with such low mileage. This is truly an investment grade vehicle with an amazing history.
In addition to the low mileage this Grand was a single-family Wagoneer passed from its original owner to his favorite niece. Her uncle was a Wagoneer enthusiast-that’s all he drove- and he owned many during his lifetime. His last Wagoneer purchase came in 1991 when he purchased two- and paid cash for both according to his niece. One became his daily driver which according to her he drove it into the ground, but this Hunter Green edition was his “occasional driver” –hence the low mileage. From the time she was a little girl our owner dreamed of owning a Wagoneer and since her uncle had no children this amazing vehicle passed to her. She cherished this Grand but felt that the timing was right to pass it on to the next owner. Letting go was not easy. We were honored that she chose us to refurbish this amazing Grand Wagoneer and to have the opportunity to find it the next wonderful home. Inside the glovebox you will find the original Bill of Sale from new, original owner’s manuals and the window sticker.
Carfax displays no accidents reported against her and confirms no odometer issues on this low mile very special Final Edition,

Why buy from a Grand Wagoneer specialist?
Our entire focus is on Grand Wagoneers and we know these unique vehicles inside and out. When you purchase a Classic Gentleman Wagoneer, it has been thoroughly inspected and completed by professional mechanics, some with over forty years of Wagoneer experience. We purchase fine example Jeeps from a variety of sources including other dealers and private parties. We are often told by the seller, “My Jeep is excellent and needs nothing” however, being in this profession, we know to expect and plan for a great deal of sorting. Remember the average age of these vehicles is over thirty years old and even with loving care many the cosmetics and mechanical parts have aged and worn accordingly. When a Classic Gentleman Grand Wagoneer arrives at your home, it is a special occasion, and the Grand will be in beautiful condition. Yes, our sales areas-is, but as you will see from our detailed document files your Grand has been looked after carefully. Our goal is to see that the joy and enthusiasm of Grand Wagoneer ownership begins immediately with your purchase and that it will be there for years to come.
Still, and here is the most honest paragraph you have perhaps ever seen from a restoration house/dealer, in some ways these Jeeps were terrible even when they were new. Sometimes we wonder if automotive engineering was more of a hobby with Jeep executives. For example, the Grand Wagoneer was the very last vehicle produced in America still fitted with a carburetor. The factory installing an ancient artifact like a carburetor to these Grands is a perfect example of Wagoneers being more primitive than other vehicles of the same model years. Now we automatically upgrade and modernize each of our Grands with MODERN FUELINJECTION, eliminating the troublesome carburetor and therefore also eliminating the next owner having to constantly hector his local Jeep service advisor to adjust the carburetor. But, in most every other way, we can’t change the method these were built by the factory. In many respects the manufacturer used outdated technology and manufacturing methods and as a restorer, we will always be compromised by that circumstance. Did you know you can remove the front grill from a final year 1991 Grand Wagoneer and behind it still see the round cut out holes for the 1963 Jeep Wagoneer headlights? Those are just two examples above to illuminate the discussion. Therefore, please understand you will do more maintenance and servicing of a vintage Grand Wagoneer than a modern piece, even one we have restored. That is just a truth, fellow enthusiast. If you don’t have the un-excitability and tolerance for that, then let us say to you candidly, don’t buy one. But let us also remind you that itis indeed that old school style and looks of a Grand Wagoneer that have made them so ever popular today.
