Up for sale is my 1986 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4. This Bronco has undergone a full restoration, including: recently rebuilt 302 engine with Ford Racing Heads (4,000 miles), AOD transmission rebuilt at the same time as engine (also 4,000 miles), new paint Oct 2023, fully stripped to bare metal and painted in year correct Ford Bright Canyon Red (original color was Canyon Red), I de-badged and de-trimmed the bronco (except for the front Ford emblem on the grill), rebuilt the under hood light that rarely works on these Broncos, new front windshield, all new lenses (tail lights, parking lights, turn signal lights, dome light), new American Racing Baja wheels, new BFGs, new SoftTopper soft top, new outside mirrors, new wiper arms and blades, new bumper hardware and trim, new license plate lights, new spare tire and cover, new grill and headlight components, new AC that blows cold, electric fans, FiTech fuel injection, Headman ceramic coated headers, Flowmaster mufflers, new power steering pump and hoses, new door panels, door channels, window seals, new Corbeau front seats, rear seat newly upholstered, new center console, new radio, new steering wheel, new dash pad (not a cover), new carpet, new seat belts, new electronic door buttons for windows, locks, etc…, new wires and plugs, oil service, transmission service, new turn signal switch. I’ve had the Bronco for a couple of years and have gone through every part of it and everything is in good working order. Two things that I’d do if I’m the new buyer: 1) replace the quarter window seals. They are in good shape, but do show age. I’d also change out the gauge cluster to Dakota Digital gauges (around $850), as the dash lighting is just not bright enough at night for my liking (common theme for these Broncos). This is a southern Bronco, so no cancer/rust. I don’t spray paint underneath, so you’ll see the underlay is in excellent condition for a 38 year old Bronco. This has been my daily driver and has always been kept indoors at home and at work. I’m selling it due to having too many vehicles and I need to make room for another project that I’m starting. I’ve invested $36,000 in the Bronco, but will sell for a lot less than what I have in it. If you have any questions, send me an eBay message and I’ll reach out in short order. Thanks.
