First off let me start off by saying that I am not a car flipper and I do not make a living buying and selling cars.
PLEASE CHECK THE ABOVE AVERAGE AUTO CHECK SCORE ON THE JEEPS TITLE HISTORY IN THE LISTING
I am selling my 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ 4.0l 4x4, current mileage is 62,067, this is not my daily driver and will remain in my garage in my home until it sells. I bought this jeep for myself in 2-2020 from Primo Classics located in Lakeland, FL.
I have owned this jeep over 4 yrs, during that time I have added many upgrades to make the jeep what it is today. This jeep has been adult driven by myself, it has never been abused or taken off road since I’ve owned it. I bought this jeep for nostalgic reasons, everywhere I go I get thumbs up and quiet frankly it’s a bad ass jeep.
I usually drive the jeep to work once a week about 12 miles round trip. Occasionally I drive it around town to run errands. I am going to describe the jeep to the best of my knowledge as if I was going to buy it for myself. However, that being said I do recommend that you have jeep inspected prior to bidding or buying since I am not a mechanic.
The goods:
both the body and undercarriage is rust free (please see pics and video) everything on the jeep works perfect, A/C, factory radio, cassette player, 4x4, the transmission, all exterior and interior lights, horn, manual door locks and manual windows, wipers, seat belts etc! I haven’t had any issues since I bought this jeep in 2020. Now let’s look at the bad.
The bad:
#1-in the 4 years of my ownership the jeep has failed to start on 2 occasions, I realized when this happened that if I put the automatic transmission in neutral it fires right up. Like I mentioned this hasn’t been an on going issue but I felt I should let the new owner know.
#2- some of the original fender flares black paint has started to peel off in certain spots (see pictures)
#3-On a few occasions the Check engine light has come on momentarily and then goes off on its own. I’ve run the codes and it comes back to a bad fuel cap, I have replaced the fuel cap twice in 4 years and once replaced light comes off. The second time this happened was about 11 months and there are currently no dash or warning lights on.
#4-the original windshield wiper fluid plastic container has a small leaks and fluid tends to run out quicker.
I have tried to describe this jeep as honest as possible, it’s really a nice looking jeep and I get thumbs up anytime that I drive it.
The only reason that I am selling my jeep is because I injured my back and I’m having a hard time getting in and out of the jeep as I am getting older.
I have added a video of the jeep running, the YouTube link is in my listing. I have also added a bunch of picture of the jeep and undercarriage which is rust free.

You will not be disappointed buying this jeep as it has a clean and clear Texas Title under my name with no accidents. The jeep is solid.
The buyer / bidder is responsible for any inspections and to ship the jeep to your location. I will not release the title until all the funds have been transferred to my bank. I will then over night you the title at my expense and I will be glad to help deliver the jeep to your assigned shipper. I can keep the jeep in my garage until you have secured shipping.
Please don’t bid or buy the jeep unless you intend to follow through with the purchase. It is my understanding that Traditional banks will not issue a loan due to the vehicles age. However, you could use JJ best as I did when I bought it or any other classic car finance company of your choosing or we can make a cash deal.
