The Jeep Wrangler YJ is the first generation of Jeep Wrangler four wheel drive small off-road vehicles. It was a significantly new design with a wider track, slightly less ground clearance, more comfort and improved handling.

Under the hood is the legendary AMC 4.2L 258CID Inline 6 cylinder. The "C" in the VIN lets us know it left the Brampton factory as a straight-6 and paired behind is the 5-speed BA-10 manual transmission. A Howell JP-1 electronic fuel injection system has been tastefully added to aid in the daily drivability of this YJ.

The exterior is a beautiful Mocha Brown Metallic that changes based on sun/shade exposure and compliments the beige hardtop. Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's wrap around 8-hole Eagle Alloy's for an appearance that's both on and off road ready.

The interior sits comfortably as cloth/vinyl driver and passenger seats face a mostly original dash. A modern AM/FM/CD/iPod/USB head unit has been fitted. Gauges present well and include: speedometer, tachometer, fuel, coolant temp, oil pressure, battery voltage, and good ol' Grandfather Time.

An under dash A/C unit does come along but needs to be connected. While equipped with 4x4, it is currently not operated and has not under the current owner. He never had intentions to off-road it so it was never addressed. Maintenance items done are the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, oil pressure switch and transfer case seal.
