Two Time 1st Place
Parade Winning 1943 International Harvester Farmall H Tractor. After
being retired from the family farm this tractor enjoyed new experiences as a
“Parade Tractor”. It has won two 1st Place awards
in the 4th Of July Parade. 1943 was during the war years
so I do not know exactly how this tractor was fitted when it left the factory
but has been restored with the most available, original and reproduction parts
that we were able to locate. More than $3,000.00 invested in sand blasting, and paint, and more than $3,000.00 in Tires, and mounting.
This would be a real eye catcher for advertising a Farmers
Market, Produce Stand, or Country Real Estate Office. It has a hitch and could be used for Hayrides, and Floats. May also work well as a photo
shoot prop, or movie / video prop.
The tractor has
an electric start but could be hand cranked if you bought a hand crank.
It has a 6 Volt electrical system with a generator, relay, magneto, 6-volt
battery, voltmeter, and front and rear lights. Many tractors of the day
had steel wheels, but we went with slightly larger rubber rear tires to level it
out and improve the overall appearance. All tires are new from Firestone
and only have 50 to 75 miles on them. It comes with two mufflers; one is the
standard length, but it has a shorter muffler to fit in the garage without
having to remove every time. (photos attached). The pulley drive
functions but the pulley is a little bit rough; it was found on the barn floor
and repaired with filler and painted. This could be removed or replaced.
The PTO functions. The PTO cover was removed because people used it as a
“Step”. The cover would need to be replaced if the PTO is to be
used. It has the distillate starter fuel
tank and can be used but we have not used it. The radiator shutters are intact
and functioning.
The milage is unknown, but ebay required a number. It
shows slight wear and tear on the deck where your feet rest and there are some
small rub marks from tie downs on the rims. There is a small intermittent
“Click” in the right rear axle but, likely, is not an issue. There is a
small dent in the short muffler. The wire mesh screen has been removed
from the grill because it takes away from the appearance. It has some reinforcements spot welded under
the hood, but the welds are hard to notice.
The seat is a little dirty from people getting their photos taken on it.
There is no Title, nor is one required. It steers, shifts, rides, and makes noises
like an 81-year-old tractor.
A lot of pride has gone into this restoration but it’s time
for a new individual to enjoy and appreciate it!
U.S. Sales Only! Local

trailers are open in the center and will not work. Sold “As Is’.
