1961 dodge lancer, I am the 3rd owner. The previous owner painted it with a friend in his garage, did a fairly nice job is cracking in some spots. Still looks good though, thinknit is an original lacquerpaint. This this can be see a mile away after a wash! The 2nd owner also paid to have the motor re placed. Engine was re placed with a 225 slant six from a 65 dart with 18000 original miles and was rebuilt when installed. I've put maybe 500 miles on it and I don't think it was driven much previously. The speedometer cable is broken, have not been able to find a replacement yet, car passes inspection and drives fine. Always have people asking me what it is when I drive it anywhere. Gets alot of compliments and looks. I have put all copper head and exhaust gaskets in it, installed a 3 core aluminum radiator with fan shroud and electronic ignition after the points went out at a friend's house at the lake. 3 spd push button transmission works great, car has a new stereo with a nice marine AMP. Car has new tires and year old rims, some of the chrome is coming off in some spots. Selling to fund other projects, I've had my fun with the car.
