THIS IMPERIAL IS 94 YEARS OLD AND HAS BEEN IN DRY CLIMATE CONTROLLED STORAGE SINCE 1952. THE INTERIOR IS INTACT WITH WINDOW SHADES AND WOLLEN UPHOLSTERY. THE PADDED ROOF NEEDS REUPHOLSTERY AS THE TOP MATERIAL HAS DEGRADED OVER TIME. THE BRIGHTWORK HAS LIGHT SURFACE RUST BUT THERE DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE ANY SIGNIFICANT RUST ON THE BODY OR FRAME. THE CAR ROLLS FREELY AND I UNDERSTAND THE CAR WAS RUNNING AND DRIVING WHEN INITIALLY STORED IN THE EARLY FIFTIES. I BELIEVE THAT THE ENGINE SHOULD BE TOTALLY CHECKED OUT BEFORE ATTEMPTIG TO START IT. THE TIRES RECENTLY WENT FLAT AND SHOULD BE REPLACED.
I HAVE INCLUDED A PICTURE OF A RESTORED 1927 IMPERIAL. THIS CAR WAS CLEARLY AT THE TOP OF THE LINE IN ITS TIME AND WOULD MAKE AN IMPRESSIVE RESTORATION . ALL OF THE PARTS ARE HERE AND IN PLACE.
I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 2014 FROM A DALLAS, TEXAS IMPERIAL CLUB MEMBER. IT HAS BEEN IN MY WAREHOUSE SINCE THAT TIME.
THE LAST PICTURE IN THE SERIES IS A RESTORED VERSION OF THE 1927 IMPERIAL.
