The Good: Very light weight car with a powerful V8. This El Dorado is one of my favorite cars in my personal collection. I have loved having and driving this Cadillac for many years. I can't count how many people have asked to buy it over the years. My intentions when I first brought it was to sale it and I fell in love with it. I thought at first I could possibly find another one because I wasn't to fond of the color, I always wanted a white one or silver, which are really hard to find. All the real Cadillac people will understand when your looking for a certain model and the price is good we normally hop right on it. I did have the transmission changed because my sister came to stay from Italy and I reluctantly decided to let her drive the El Dorado to save her some funds while she was here. She drove in 3 the whole time, never put the gear into D drive and ruined the transmission, we had to push it up a huge hill to the house. Jim Coleman Cadillac replaced the transmission over three years now and no issues since.
The Bad: The El Dorado does have a scratch on the side that has been there since I brought it (maybe that's why the price was lowered) from the dealership.
The air will need to be serviced, it is currently low on coolant.
The antenna will need to be replaced (going throw a car wash and somehow broke it off) however the radio works, I have cassette tapes that I listen to.
The Ugly: The scratch on the side:(
This is a used car so it isn't perfect and I highly advise that you get your service done for your own peace of mind. The El Dorado that I'm selling is in my opinion a great buy. The new owner is going to enjoy this vehicle. I have a lot of Cadillacs and I have had over the years 10 plus models of Cadillacs and hands down the El Dorado is a classic. I hope whoever becomes the new owner is a Cadillac person for many reasons I say that, and someone that will keep this Cadillac running and on the road.
