This 1989 Volvo 240 DL wagon is finished in white over a tan cloth interior and is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The car was first registered in California and landed in Nebraska. It was acquired by the seller in 2008. This 240 wagon is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Nebraska title. The transmission was replaced in 2013 and has been driven less than 1000 miles per year. It has not been garaged so there is a tiny bit of rust in places.
I love this car and would trust it to drive cross country. It is vintage and popular with the hipsters. She is a runner. Smooth ride.
When I acquired the car in 2008, the odometer was broken at 186,000. I bought her in San Diego and lived in San Francisco at the time. I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, and towed her here. I hardly drove this car, as I prefer to bicycle. I have a great mechanic in Lincoln who knows vintage Volvo cars and has been maintaining it carefully.
Struts, mounts and tires, muffler, timing belt, battery, all replaced 5000-8000 miles ago. Please message me for further details.
