This Vanagon camper was purchased new by my father in1989. After he no longer could use it,
it became mine. Mylife has taken me in a direction where it is finally time for our campervan
to find a new home. Itspent most of its life in Minnesota (kept in a garage) and moved to
Colorado about 2017.
It has been well-maintained over the years, mostly servicedby mechanics who specialize in VW
vans/campers. It wasrecently checked out by my mechanic who declared that it was in great
condition, ready to be driven to its new home. Other than regular maintenance, everything is
in its original condition. The interior is in excellent shape. The exterior is not perfect and shows
some of the wear of the road and its 34 year history. The side panel over the rear passenger
wheel was repainted and the patina does not quite match (seephotos). (I didn’t even notice
this until I was getting it ready to sell.) The only otherknown detriments are the AC needs to be
recharged and the steering column makes a slight brushingnoise when turning the wheel.
There are a number of extras included with this camper vanincluding a security system, a nylon
canopy, an extra space heater, a custom-built ladder foreasier access to the upper bunk and
two different sized tables for use in the back. A lot of love went into the enjoyment of this
camper van. Are youthe person who gets to continue the adventures with it?
