Hi. Today we have a 2001 Toyota Camry LE for sale! This vehicle is one if the most sought after used vehicles around. The 1997-2001 camry has a reputation that is unbeatable. They run practically forever if you keep up the maintenance. I'm selling this for someone and I'm not about to ruin my reputation by misrepresenting this car (or anything else) on this site. I want it to be be exactly as I described it.

I've put over 200 miles on this car so I could give a good description of what I found, Good or bad so you can make your mind up with the confidence that there shouldn't be any "deal killer" time wasting surprises when you see it in person. With that said, Here's the pro's: Car starts right up, runs good and smooth as it should,drives and shifts smooth at 30, 60, and 95mph., respectively, tires have good life left on them (see pics), all windows work as they should, car has a key fob to lock and unlock the doors. Brakes are good does not pulsate when braking. Battery appears to be new(er). Cruise control works good. It has a radio, I didn't test it. Title is clean and in hand.

Cons: The driver's side mirror needs replaced base is cracked and it shakes when you drive, passenger side mirror does not move, must move it manually, A/C does not get cold (may need recharging??IDK) the light that allows you to see instrumentation in the dash at night does not light, and the check engine light is on. I tested it, and its a P0330 meaning the knock sensor 2 on bank 2 needs replaced (see pic). It needs a new (dog bone) torque motor mount (easy to replace) and the space saver spare is not there. The body is SOLID and there's rust over the wheel well on the passenger side. I see a little bubbling in one other area but for a 20+ year old car, this isn't bad. See pics.

There may be "things" I didn't see, but it's not because I'm trying to conceal something, it's because I'm human. The ad says 1 owner. I have no idea how many owners this car had, but there was no option to say unknown, so I just said 1.

All in all, I like how this car runs and looks. If you're looking for a perfect used car, keep looking. If you're looking for a great dependable car that's not an eyesore, then this may be for you! If you live where you don't have to worry about emissions to title it (like Illinois) then don't worry about that stupid sensor as it doesn't effect the drivability of the car at all, it's just that stupid light will be on all the time. If you do, then get your estimates on a knock sensor job for this car. This is an EXCELLENT choice for your new teen driver or if you want a good dependable car for yourself without car notes!! I've done the best I can to describe this vehicle to you. Personally, I'd drive it to Florida right now without hesitation. I can't say that about all the cars I've sold out here, but I can definitely say that about this one. I will keep driving it and IF anything else shows up, I'll definitely post it!
