re: IMS
It's still in good shape and I've only put on 4,300 miles since I purchased it. It has a 1999 3.4-liter flat-six which employs a dual-row IMS bearing, rather than the later and weaker single-row IMS bearing.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. The price is firm, and the car is sold "as-is" as I've already reduced the price down significantly. If you are seeing this listing from a few months ago, the difference in price is I removed the Fabspeed mufflers to allow me to adjust the price accordingly.

Cons of the car.
+ Will need 4 new tires
+ Sunroof opens and closes very slowly.
I never opened it but if you plan to, the motor will need to be addressed. (+250 part)
+ The airbag light is on the dashboard. Please read this forum if you're concerned about this common problem and easy fix. I don't have the time to address it.
I've been asked why the low score on the vehicle history report and its due to
- Age: Generally, older cars have lower Scores.
- Vehicle Class: Different vehicle classes have varying breakdown histories.
- Mileage: Higher mileage tends to lower the Score.
- Number of Owners: More owners than expected can decrease the Score.
- Vehicle Use and Events: Taxi use, accidents, repossession, and theft history impact the Score.
Now, if you look at how many Owners are reported in this listing it states its 12, which is incorrect. Please review the carfax (link below) and you will see its 9, the car dealerships selling it inbetween owners. made it 12 The majority of owners were in its early years and the last 10+ years were me and the guy I purchased from.

AC blows cold!! I live in southern Louisiana, and I often drive with the windows up.
I originally bought this for $24,000 in August 2022 and I've put $4k+ worth of changes and fixes. The car is priced to sell, not because it's a lemon but I'm about to be a dad, need to make some adjustments in my life, and I barely drive it. I don't have the time to try to sell this for $20k+. My loss is your gain. Make this your first 996 or add it to your collection.
