This is a 1941 Packard straight 8. It has the manual transmission with overdrive. Someone put a lot of money into painting the body and having the chrome redone, but never fully finished the project.

The front body parts and drivetrain are currently removed. The transmission is unbolted from the engine. I started the engine with starter fluid before pulling it. It ran well and had good oil pressure (I have a short video of it). The water pump is froze, so that will also need to be replaced. The old 6 volt wiring will also need to be replaced. Brake system will need to be gone through. All typical things for an 80+ year old vehicle.

The car is pretty complete with only a few misc. pieces missing. The radio is missing, some small bezels, interior windshield trim, and misc. chrome pieces here and there. All of these parts can be found on eBay, Packard forums, swap meets, etc.. I will include everything with the car that I received with it. If anything else is missing, I do not have it.

The body and paint are nice with a couple small dings on the hood and one on the rear 1/4. The paint and body work are driver quality, not show car perfect. I didn't wash the vehicle before I took these photos, so everything is a little dusty.

I'd really like to finish the project, but my garage space is very limited and I need the room for something else. It's up to you how far you want to take this project. You could probably have it in the road with a few weeks of elbow grease. Or, spend a year on it and make it a show car.

Clean Missouri title in my name. Again, please keep in mind that this is a project car. This is not something you are going to drive home. Full payment is due 7 days after the listing ends, or you can pay cash upon pickup. The vehicle will only be released for transport after payment has cleared. Please ask any questions you have before bidding. I'm happy to send additional photos and videos for serious buyers. This project vehicle is sold-as is. Thank you for looking!
