1962 MGA MKII 1622 Good Mechanics
1962 MGA MKII that can be driven as it is. The car is in green with a black interior. It is the desirable MKII model with the correct 1622 engine. The previous owner kept the car in good driving condition. Paint is showing age with many areas of cracking and peeling. Interior is usable - seats and carpets are decent. Mechanics are in good working order. Engine runs smooth and the transmission, clutch and brakes are working well. Reportedly over $4,000 was spent on mechanical upgrades including rear suspension, brakes, clutch, new transmission and carburetor rebuild. Trunk and frame appear to be clean and solid. Car comes with a spare wheel, convertible top frame (no top), tonneau cover, side windows and many extra parts including the removed heater assembly. Car has a clear title from Ohio. We ship all over the USA and worldwide. For overseas shipments the car ships from the port of NJ. Shipping for a car of this size in a shared container to major European ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bremerhaven or Felixstowe is approx. $1200 plus a cost of $275 to transport to a shipping company's warehouse. Other European ports will be slightly higher.
Please note - given the age and uniqueness of this car all sales are final. Please feel free to ask any number of questions and please feel free to ask for more pictures. You are welcome to come and inspect the car - the car is located in College Point NY 11356 - which is about 20 minutes east of New York City. However since this car is very old we possibly cannot check each and every item on the car. As such the car is strictly sold on as-is basis and all sales are final.
