Relisting as high bidder declined purchase.
I’ve owned this car for 17 years and it has always been garaged. It’s a blast to drive with the strong 1.8 liter 4 cyl and six-speed transmission. This car is a premium Titanium Storm color with Tan interior. Lotus America says it has both the Sport and Touring packages. I’ve replaced the sticky tires with a little harder version for durability and extended life. The 25K service was just performed along with replacement of the crank position sensor as needed for the latest SMOG check. In addition, I had the steering rack replaced as it had a worn bushing. I’ve also replaced the headliner and front speakers and upgraded the brakes as part of regular maintenance. A new heater fan box was installed. A new battery was just installed, too. The car comes with two working key fobs, a convertible top and Kevlar bag for storing the hard top. The owner’s manual and tool kit are still in the trunk.
There are a few paint chips and blemishes that I’ve tried to capture in the photos. The car is 19 years old, so a little wear and tear is expected. I hear a slight whistle occasionally when I let the clutch out too slow. My specialty shop checked it while doing the25K service and had a hard time replicating it, so must be my style of driving in town. They did not recommend any action. The start button light is out and the Lotus dealer couldn’t find a replacement.
I believe the pricing fairly represents the car’s value.
