1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible

Here is a very rare and hard-to-find 1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible barn find. We recently acquired this baby out of an estate in South Dakota. It's been sitting for the past 20 plus years and needs a complete restoration, but it is 99% complete and all there. This would be a perfect car to restore to stock or a great start to a resto-mod project. Being one of only 3,212 convertibles produced and one of even fewer with factory air conditioning makes this baby a rare bird.

If you have been looking at the market for these 1961 to 1965 Lincoln convertibles, you would know that restored cars are fetching $100K to $200K back to stock and $200K to $600K as high-end resto-mods with updated modern drivetrains. This car is perfect for either route you choose to go, as the car is all there and complete. The only things we see missing on the car are the windshield and rear side glass, but the frames are intact.

The only negative on the car is that it has some rust issues, as it was a Midwest car part of its life. The positive is that the main structure of the car is solid with excellent body fit, and the rust it does have is all completely repairable. We have extensively photographed the car from top to bottom so you know exactly what you're getting. The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the state of Arizona , that the state courts of Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction (s) with seller and venue may be had in the Maricopa County Superior Court of the state of Arizona.

Our Guarantee

However, we recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector. Prior to delivery, if such inspection reveals a substantial discrepancy between the information contained in the listing and the actual vehicle, we will correct the problem at no charge or work out a compromise.
