ere is the cleanest 2000 Honda Civic Type R tribute ever built. The car is built on a clean title, rust free, 1997 Honda Civic. This vehicle was built with the idea of having an EK9 Type R that would allow you to experience what it was like to drive a new stock EK9. As you can see in the attached build sheet, there are tons of new genuine OEM Honda parts used throughout this restoration build. All new zinc plated screws, bolts and nuts were used throughout.

Importing a real EK9 can be costly. You may be paying $20-35k for a rusty unrestored car from Japan.

The car has the legendary B16B Type R motor and runs great and engages VTEC with no issues. The motor has been refreshed with a new oil pump, new water pump, new hoses, new belts, seals, etc. The matching 5-Speed transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding or other issues. B16B swaps alone are now $5k - $10k by themselves.

The heater and blower works, the only thing left is to install the AC lines and compressor. I have not installed either as it is missing some bolts and pulley assembly. Depending if the car sells right away or not, I may order the parts and have them installed.

The miles on the cluster are not actual, but since the car was built, it has been driven under 300 miles on all the new components.

The Brake and suspension system is all new and in working order. The car is setup with non-ABS but I have and will include the ABS pump, mounting bracket and JDM RHD brake hardlines if you wish to add ABS in the future.
